Four-star hotel Crowne Plaza in the Italian small town Quatro D’Antilio, which is Venice province, has sold rooms at cost 1 eurocent for week-end by mistake.
Special offer appeared at the web-site of Intercontinental group, into which the hotel enters: romantic week-end for 1 eurocent.
228 online-bookings till 2010 have been made within several hours. In total, travelers have decided to spend 1400 nights in Crowne Plaza under the super price.
Actually, the special offer provided “romantic weekend” under the scheme “two nights at the price of one”. Representatives of Crowne Plaza’s administration tell, that, having found out the strange price on a site, they have decided, that it was cracked with hackers. However, then it was found out, that it was the mistake of Intercontinental group’s employees.
Let’s notice, that standard cost of numbers in hotel Crowne Plaza in deviates from EUR90 to EUR150. Management Intercontinental has informed that they will not cancel the confirmed orders for booking and people can stop in hotel for 1 eurocent.
